European Junior Championships
Scotland’s Craig McKenna finished 9th of 20 competitors in the 55kg category at the European Junior Championships in Zrenjanin, Serbia on Wednesday 22nd June 2011.
Craig got a bye in the first round. In the next round Craig won his bout against David Berdis (Slovakia) 2-0, 4-1. Chakir Ansari (France) won his bout against Craig in the quarter finals.

Best of luck to Scotland’s Craig McKenna, who will represent Great Britain in the 55kg category at the European Junior Championships in Zrenjanin, Serbia on Wednesday 22nd June 2011.
Craig, who is supported by the sportscotland Institute of Sport, has prepared for the Championships at a training camp in Ukraine. Craig will be coached at the tournament by Scottish Head Coach, Volodymyr Gladkov.

Ashlea McManus to compete at European Wrestling Championships
Scotland’s Ashlea McManus will compete tomorrow in the 67kg category at the European Wrestling Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan. Ashlea, coached by Volodymyr Gladkov, will face 9 opponents in the tournament. The qualification rounds and repechage begin at 1pm on Thursday, 15th April, with the finals scheduled to begin at 7:30pm.
