Trainee Referees
The Scottish Wrestling Association is looking for volunteers to train as referees. The Association will run training and refereeing courses in March 2012 under the guidance of Scotland’s senior referee, Victor Keelan.
While it is a pre-requisite for FILA competitions that referees must be under 40 years of age, there are no age restrictions for refereeing at national tournaments throughout the UK.
The Scottish Wrestling Association will provide support for individuals interested in training to be a referee, and anyone interested should contact Joanne Daly by email by Friday, 24th February.
