Tullibody coaches recognised for Services to Sport
Tullibody wrestling coaches Colin McLaren and Alan Harper received an award for their Services to Sport at the Clackmannanshire Awards for 2009.

The ceremony, held at the Alva Academy, recognised significant contributions to the region’s community and was attended by many leading figures from Clackmannanshire’s arts, sports and business communities. The Sports Council awards, presented by Sheila Bulloch, saw Colin and Alan recognised for their work in leading Tullibody Wrestling Club from strength to strength.
Tullibody’s members have claimed a haul of medals at the Scottish, Welsh and English Opens in the past year and two Tullibody wrestlers, Brian Harper and Shannon Hawke, were selected for the GB National Talent Squad.
Colin and Alan would like to thank ‘No Messin! Network Rail’ for their continued support of the club.
